Shared processing, it'd take up alot of network resources if it were used in a realtime MMO like Freelancer. Your ISP won't be too happy about it.

It's none of ISP's business how much bandwidth you use if you are not bandwidth capped. BUT many ISP specifically forbid home-customers to run any kind of server, plus you need to have a static IP.


@Cannon. Thank you. Very enlightening. I really thought that FLserver and hook run on different cores. The load might be a bit on the rise with the mining mod...

It becomes their business if you're effecting other customers' service, and yes a FL server is premium and dedicated.
