Perhaps you should change your helping ship from a Geb to something the Navy won't kill you for having.

I thought something like this:
The order has a Major role in Sp campain No?
They helped Trent even when he was a complete stranger, so i can say helping in order ship is at least a little bit in Rp.
Imagine this:
"New pilot get his starflea, so he starts to make some cash doing mission, but things dont go very well(npcs are harder thar in SP), and when he is about to be destroied, mysterious ship apears and saves him. The ship belongs to The order(They helped Trent and defended Sirus from nomads). Things looks like they are still helping new pilots to survive in sirus. But when a navy comes they will engage The cloaking device and and *POF ship disapers in a cloud of gas."
And only cap ships had Cloaking device, and order had only osiris is SP, but Sp was long time ago so they now use geb.

How about a civilian ship, perhaps an eagle? And I mean no disrespect but trying to have cool RP for a helper isn't really.. going to work well... I think it's safe to say that you may be a little oorp about this helper thing.
