RP Crossovers - Armageddon - 11-22-2009 I would just be careful how you do it. I think it is possible but... i may be biased in this. You can always have a go and see how it works. Regards, Armageddon RP Crossovers - Turkish - 11-22-2009 ' Wrote:Thing is, if you're going to bring in someone from another SciFi universe into Disco, it'd be best pick something a bit more obscure and generic then Star Trek. As much as I want to be Severus Snape, the Bretonian Wizard, Irontwatsauce has a point. I wouldn't mind the odd Star Trek ship, if you managed to keep it to an excellent standard though. RP Crossovers - jxie93 - 11-22-2009 Oookay. Quite a few negative suggestions, but I liked the fact that I'm discussing my ideas with you all. In fact, except from the fact that my character comes from the ST universe nothing is imported, not even name. It is a brand new adventure based in the FL verse. I'm only going to introduce the story by the event of a crossover. Well, I guess it's better than that Dead Space mining ship horror idea I was thinking off.. How about this, in order for the character to relate with the FL Sirius more, he comes from the BSG verse instead? I'm thinking of grim, realistic and dark characterisations. The priniciples are the same. So instead of multi species "let's be friends" Star Trek, it's battle hardened "shoot first, ask questions later" Battlestar Galactica? If you do some odd horror thing well enough, it will be better than Star Trek. RP Crossovers - Akura - 11-23-2009 It's lame. I don't like it. Joker is also lame. It can work, like emulating aspects of personalities. A carbon copy/crossover? I don't like it. It breaks my precious forth-wall. RP Crossovers - Donutman - 11-24-2009 I said no. Closest thing I do to a crossover is occasionally naming ships/people after VERY obscure Star wars ships/people. |
