AAAAAAAAGH! - me_b_kevin - 06-21-2007 this may or may not be your problem... i run Windows XP, the computer is maybe 6 months old, i noticed that i would get majorly bogged down (i mean nothing would run at all) with nothing running what so ever. i couldn't figure it out. i did the ctrl-alt-delete and my resources were hovering around 100% usage as i sat there looking at my (what i thought) idle comp. then all of a sudden it cleared up and i got a windows update notice. i turned off windows update and it's not happened since. i just manually update windows once a week. it was scanning my complete hardrive everytime i turned on my PC and at random times while i was on it. hope that helps AAAAAAAAGH! - Eppy - 06-21-2007 Defrag done with. Running FL again... again... again... AAAAAAAAGH! - Eppy - 06-21-2007 I cranked down all the detail settings to zero, and it's better, though not gone. I can dogfight NPC, though I haven't had a chance to try anything on a player (It's New York, whaddya expect?). AAAAAAAAGH! - JensenDied - 06-22-2007 this might be a retarded suggestion, video drivers? check for updates from your video card manufacturer AAAAAAAAGH! - Commodore - 06-22-2007 umm, delete Itunes NOW, its a virus if you didnt know, and I know, I have plenty of antivirus programs that say its a virus. DL an antivirus and scan you drive, and delete itunes too. AAAAAAAAGH! - Eppy - 06-22-2007 HOW the crap do I delete iTunes? It's my music organizer. I NEED my iPod-I'm a card-carrying addict. AAAAAAAAGH! - Qunitinius~Verginix - 06-22-2007 iTunes is not a virus. Where did you get that Idea form? the last thing apple would want from is programs would be for it to be a virus. If it was a virus people would stop bying iPods and apple products. I can tell you know that it is NOT a virus. Anyways, i have never had problems with iTunes and freelancer running at the same time, cept when the enwtest version came out and it was buggy for a bit, but other then that, you should not have any problems. Verginix Out AAAAAAAAGH! - Dog-Soldier - 06-22-2007 You need to give more details about your PC and what your running on it if you want advise on how to clear it up. If FL is running now it would seem that you are being bogged down by other programs running in the background and either using the RAM memory (What you got?) or bandwidth for auto updates (What's running at the same time? (Symbols bottom right of your screen?). Could be your graphics card can't cope (Does it have its own onboard RAM or use the modules installed on the main board?). Hope you get it fixed fella....nothing hurts more than a failing PC (Well maybe one that wont connect to the interent at all LOL) AAAAAAAAGH! - DBoy1612 - 06-22-2007 iTunes is not a virus... Its just badly programmed... But now were going off topic. Epyon, download Hijackthis. http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Hija...nload-5034.html Run it, click scan and save log file. Once the log file comes up, copy the list under Running Process. Post it here. (Gone for the weekend, won't be able to reply to it...) |
