but didnt everyone dock and undock before the second fight broke out? Didnt the BH dock then undock before he was attacked by the BS? Dosnt that count as a seperate fight?

I'm assuming the time between attacks was only a few minutes tops, therefore, still under the same battle.
That being said, it looks like this particular matter is mostly settled, only questions of Tag/ID and Rep/docking combinations being in doubt.

NO. DON'T START THIS AGAIN. This sounds like it could turn into a fight about every controversial/banned topic on the server. I'm not much ready to sit through another one of those again. THough it is usually good for my post count:P

Alright.. At first, it started fine. The guy switching ships is okay as long as he wasn't engaged at the time, and the two ships were related (like if I switched from an AW fighter to an AW bomber when I saw an enemy battleship enter).
The first wrong here would be when Ryoken docked in the system. Its all Corsair bases, and doing what you did is a punishable offense, which you just admitted to doing.
About the Corsair BS undocking and firing again; If he undocked and fired AFTER you had docked and undocked yourself, it would be classified as a new fight. If he fired on you before you docked, than yes, he violated the rules of engagement. Though he did already apologize for this.
@Thomas; Even if you were killed by your own missiles, you still DIED. No matter how you die in a fight, you are out for the duration of the fight. Heck, you could hit an NPC with a Nuclear mine, end up getting killed by the blast, and still you would not be allowed back in the fight. As the thread's name is; Dead is dead, once you are dead, you stay dead until the battle is over.
@Knucklehead; There is no time limit between battles. Once one battle is over, both sides can engage again immediately.

Thank you all for the input.It set a few things straight for me.I came in system from hole and did not dock until after pirate launched his BS the second and fired at me, because at that time i figured RP was out the window any way i docked on crete,and then posted this.I normally dock on zoner/BH house bases, but RP was already so screwed i just docked because i was pissed with the whole hessien suppoting 2 pirate ID'd corsair tagged ship's,and the relaunching shooting after death thing. I will consider this post closed. TY all.:cool:
