Sort of ... It looks like that more because the textures are similar than the actual shape is...Also, don't be silly. Junkers getting a non-hybrid ship? Blasphemy!
Anyways, I really like the model... Just the color on the rim of the "cockpit" that seems a bit too bright.

Ive said it before, and im gonna say it again: you believe combat professionals would use inferior ships against a more powerful enemy, when they have a choice in the matter? At worst, all it does is make the good RP's a better target for a tridente swarm. It cant be VASTLY inferior.... And if you look at the LPI, they use eagles and Roc's in their SWAT team. Does this mean that they should be useless ships? No....The generic civillian ships provide variety. If a faction wants a heavy gunboat, they should be free to use one that isnt a Flashpoint-on-wings. Im not saying it should be a bullboat clone, but it -Needs- to be able to do what it was designed to do, or else it becomes another neverused space waster.

Hmm, something tells me we should rename some civilian ships (Hawk and upwards maybe) from civilian to generic mercenary.
But anyway, I'd like to see a version of this gunboat without all the grey hull plates. It looks like some civilian transport with reinforced armour and modified to use advanced weaponry. I like it. But the cockpit (or is it a bridge?) is too small IMO. It makes the gunboat appear large on the screenshots. Did you think about a T-shaped cockpit?

This model looks good, but I don't like the concept. Its kinda' like an oversized starflea which the junkers made and just added on some armor. Looks more like a junker, or a xeno ship to me.

I think we don't need super extra looking model for some random civilian craft..
I don't say this model is bad i like it .. and we don't need better for its purpose.
This craft has to be uglier, slower, weaker then any other military gunboat

thats about the point - really.
when it looks nicer than current military crafts or outperforms them, we might upset the balance. - pirates would choose such a ship over their own, and the military due to the rigid restrictions would start to complain that they are stuck with their own gear.
yes - this model is supposed to be ugly - really ugly. ( that is one point that does not upset the balance but affects the choice of the pilot ) - so - even if its stats are similar - its not meant to look streamlined and somewhat "good".
imo - the stats of such a generic ship should be good enough. - but it should also look just bad enough to make a military officer feel ashamed for flying it. - besides - i think it looks just junkerish enough to actually be convinced that such a ship can be maintained practicly everywhere in sirius.
