That seems a pointless rule.... surely the positions would just be swapped e.g.
Say if the council got the upper hand and took over gallia the royals would assume the role of the revolutionaries trying to take control of the people once more... you could just keep interchanging it and then the factions would still have reason to exist...
Um... I hope they do it soon I think they could hold it together and make a peaceful leadership under a new system of order..... but if they went into civil war there armies would need to pull back from the war with bretonia because well many reasons so EH it would be interesting either way

What exactly do you think 'overthrowing' means ? I means, taking over all of the Government and Samura's assets, and basically leading the organization. They wouldn't be able to take them over in the first place, if the resistance is too strong.
If Samura owns Kusari, the BD will go for them first.

Techy: here's what I mean.
BD and GC unite and manage to assassinate the emperor and the council. The army is crushed and BD operatives manage to blow up several factories and close entrances to KNF and KSP guard systems by collapsing them.

But let's play along.
They have the government now. Their next move would probably be overtaking Samura and Kishiro, what would result in collapse of both those corporations as they would come to halt for at least few days.
Kishiro would die off fast because their stocks would go down faster since they focus on foreign exports more. Samura would be focused on pure military production and exploitation of their own workers. GMG would fly in with BD and Outcasts with GC.
Then they would realize that their entire plan sucks. GC and Outcasts would demand more, while BD with support of GMG would claim their "legitimate" throne. Kishiro would re-attempt to rebuild but it would be seriously damaged by the FA and Hogosha as plunder and pillaging would happen as Hogosha burns their bridges.
Entire state falls in oblivion within two months. Bretonia already has Leeds fully reclaimed as well as Tau 31 as the KNF battleships regroup at Kyushu to defend the last remaining planet. The "outlawed" government now sells all Tau systems to CR in order to receive their support and hope that they will stop the Bretonia from invading. The cunning CR smells the fall of Kusari as whole and makes a deal with Bretonia, entering Kyushu.
But its just pointless to talk about this when Hogosha is so strong and entire thing seems pretty pointless.
If the above scenario took a turn where Samura and Kishiro are spared in order to stabilize the government, Kishrio would probably use the opportunity to claim all Samura's business with help of GMG and BD, and Samura would be replaced by GMG entirely. Burning their bridges, they would - again - destroy majority of shipyards and flee with FA and Hogosha, leaving the doors for Bretonia to enter again.
There's millions of scenarios, but come on really. Even BD and GC are smart enough to not interfere while the country is in war. Also, both scenarios don't even involve Outcast and Corsair forces.
and trust me, they'ld both be there.

That's not exactly how I'd see it happening Ivan.. But no point in discussing that, as it'll never come to pass.
On the original topic, it'd result in a civil war between the GC and the BD. This is my opinion on the matter, and a lot of players in both factions have said that's what think would happen as well when we talked about it. It also seems to be the option voted most for in the poll so far.
BD don't like GC's use of Cardamine, or ties to the Outcasts. BD would demand GC stop their use of Cardamine (or rather; Stop indoctrinating new members with it), as well as break off ties with LH and OC. GC would demand a woman have a powerful position, such as leader of the military, or high government official. While GC wish they could install an empress or female Shogun, most realize this dream is unlikely to happen immediately after taking down the current government. The main goal is equal rights for women throughout Kusari, as well as equal opportunities. The female leader of the government can come later, after the nation has stabilized and the populace has begun to embrace equal rights between everyone.

If the Dragons won, things would remain pretty much as they are now with a slight change in governmental structure and a flip of who is the "bad guy". Then they'd crush the GC, as they know where they are.
If the GC won, things would remain pretty much as they are now governmentally but with an Empress and lots of civil unrest. The Dragons wouldn't change at all, I don't think.
