I am so very pleased to see these incredible ships. Kudos to you. I'm simply beside myself. I wish I had the skills to be able to create such incredible ships. I understand your bit about leaving the rest to the balance team. I'm sure they'll do their part when the time comes. Thank you for sharing your time and vision with us all. Can't wait to see these beauties in game.

Well, judging the responses i've received in the original thread. The models are complete.
I'm not really going to go into turning speed, armor, powerplants etc as thats all up to balance.
As for guns, I was thinking:
Bomber: 4/0 or 4/1(forward or full)
VHF: 7/0 (instead of a generic 6 gun VHF, keep it more along the lines of the Raven Claw)
HF: 6/0, 5/1, or 5/0
LF: 4/0
Again thats all up to balancing.

These ships, they get my gears turning. In a positive manner.
They are pure utter sexiness, especially the bomber. I really really really -really- want to put Djinny in one of the bombers. If you slapped the current engines we use on them, or if you slapped some sort of Black or Red or Reddish black Rheinland engine on them...my life would be complete XD
I can only say that these ships are purely gorgeous and that I would love to fly one. As for our current line? they can go back on the open market or just disappear in my opinion. As long as we get these.

Both are imports so I would say that they just get replaced.
Open market can use:
Civ line (Eagle), RT, Stinger, Virage, Renzu line (Kushan), BW line (Sabre) that's kinda much more than any normal factions can use.

The design seems a little flat but actually looks pretty good. Where are the weapons hardpoints?

Ranzu are imports too .........
Besides import or not, theres a demand for it, so why NOT make it flyable, afterall some imports are well loved models (spyglass, Spatial, Container Transport, just to name a few .... )

Personaly Im all for keeping the huntress gone. The corsairs simply dont need it (plus it was from one of the worst trek movies ever)
