You know whats your problem Zoners? - Exsiled_one - 01-27-2010 I don't get what you mean by "looking at little bases" Why should Corsairs for example care about freeport 6 or something like that? And why would any Zoner that's outside the Delta / Theta / 41 care about Corsairs that much. I really do hope you realize that everyone says zoners are in Anarhistic period these days. The TRANSPORTS removed from the available ships in the ZG ID. Problem solved. There aren't enough Indies to go around and COZ is pretty much dead. Also, we factions boys be doing all the work right now in trying to get Zoner RP going on along with the few indies who are still trying along with the rest of us. Thats the problem. Woot! Representin' the indie Zoners of the server. My poor jugg was deleted in an inactivity sweep, but my zoner characters are still very active on the forums. While the idea of having a Zoner in control of each Freeport is intresting, there simply isn't enough players to do so that are active on their Zoners. How many indie Zoners do you know that actually RP actively? Ironfoot, Jinx, Quorg, Izii, Dab (up until is RP twist) and a few others. If each Freeport was to have a governor said people would likely come from the factions, as we are the most active. Much easier and better for all just to have a loose central 'group' to handle things overall and let each faction handle their own policy. btw, some of Zoner players are Anarchists. =p You know whats your problem Zoners? - DAnvilFan - 01-27-2010 No, that is not the problem (in reference to Ivan's original post). Especially not with the significant drop in Zoner traders due to Guard ID nerfing. As for Freeport governors, even if we had enough active members that would stay active all the bloody time, we would need a unified government in order to vote for such officials. For example, when the Factions tried to give CoZ sovereignty over Omega-49, CoZ called it a power grabbing scheme. When Jinx, who had been roleplaying as the defender of Freeport 11 since the begining of time, wanted to be a spokesperson for the station, he was also called a powergrabbing jerk. Reasons given: CoZ said that we were trying to burden them by giving away one of the most hotly contested Zoner spaces, while keeping the less trouble making areas for ourselves. Facts: Freeport 11 is ten times more contested than Gran Canaria. Conclusion: When groups are seperated, they find every reason to disagree. You know whats your problem Zoners? - Exsiled_one - 01-27-2010 man.. thats just because you lack a strong hand then I guess. I don't know what to say, tbh, only Zoners I enjoy seeing are Doc Holiday and few C guys (salome and yew for example) And those are the guys I know I'll always have good convo with. I know Jinx took freeport 11, and that was welcomed actually. Corsairs don't go down there much so we don't care. I'ld actually love to have a FP9, FP 5 spokesperson who I could adress all issues to and get a damn answer within few days, and actually see that person in space alot. Problem that I see is that you guys aren't exactly "got what you want" by moving from Omegas, it seems to me you just couldn't establish some decent diplomacy with corsairs. I'm not talking about everyone and I don't blame only you, Corsairs can be slow sometimes as well. It would be a neat thing tho to have a Faction claim certain freeport, and Junkers claim certain Junker bases. Its... a too wide and common term. Junker and Zoner. I never met half of the zoners and OPG once had a deal to pirate every zoner they see for all of the goods. Now what does that Concern a zoner in Taus? Not much. You know whats your problem Zoners? - reisiger_duke - 01-27-2010 ' Wrote:<snip>It concerns us, as we actually get around. And we HAVE to get around all over the Border and Edge World systems in order to do our RP trade runs. Of course we could always turn around at GC and cut through Liberty to Ames... but then what's with the Order in minor? They need Deuterium too to fuel their ships. I think what you (as well as a lot of the Zoner-Nay-Sayers) lack is actual experience trying to roleplay a Zoner. And I mean roleplay one, not use it as the mule to finance your X'th cap ship. You know whats your problem Zoners? - Benjamin - 01-27-2010 really, compared to IMG, GMG and all the corps, zoners are by far and away the only group that largely just makes money with any major activity/presence. |
