@ the black sails - Tenacity - 02-02-2010 ' Wrote:The LR- tax indie rogues, because they operate on the LR- turf. Although, Corsairs are a nation, so it'll be different of course... The LR arent particularly following vanilla RP either, since they never had individual 'clans' or 'groups' until the LR started up and decided they wanted to play that way. I still dont think they should be doing so, and I would argue that it's against server rules (non-RP behavior) to do so without very good reason. @ the black sails - tansytansey - 02-02-2010 ' Wrote:The LR- tax indie rogues, We don't tax. Taxing is for Governments and toll bridges. We rob, steal, cheat, gamble, pillage, whatever. How else do you think the Rogues built bases, ships and weapons? No Rogue is rich enough to do that on their own. Liberty Rogue bases, ships and weapons are all vanilla too; So your statement gets a big resounding: NO U @ the black sails - ryoken - 02-02-2010 ' Wrote:We don't tax. Taxing is for Governments and toll bridges. We rob, steal, cheat, gamble, pillage, whatever.I agree. People say the same thing about Junkers/mollys/GC and a few others. If they never work together,or in groups? How do they build bases? how do they design, and build ships? OH OH OH i got it. These bases, and ships just magically appear. They are like Lucky charms. Get over it people. If these groups never worked together? then it would be the liberty rogue, or junker,or Molly. Heck all the rest of us would have to be civi's,until the 1 rogue/molly/junker retired. Then we could all jump on and see who claims that 1 ID first. Am i getting through here? @ the black sails - Sprolf - 02-02-2010 Mollies are one of the most unified groups in the unlawful side of things, I should think.... Given that we're so loose and crazy, it's easy to be united by "HAET BRETONIA FREE DUBLIN GET BEER." Plus, I'm such an easy going son of a beer stein that there isn't any room for petty differences. We have more than enough hate to spread around to non-Mollies, and that's how we like it. @ the black sails - Grimly - 02-02-2010 I said it's now over. 3 weeks in a legionnaire preparing our next event in the Rheinland. Fair punishment assuming he was a 2 day slave in the Black Sails. @ the black sails - Tenacity - 02-02-2010 I dont think you got my point nighthawk (or ryoken). In vanilla, these were unified groups, all liberty rogues operated under one banner: the liberty rogues. They didnt have little individualistic crime lords that backstabbed their own people for money. The rogues were one group, not many. The split between independents and the official faction in discovery has caused more than one rogue group to pop up, both in-RP and oorp. Now, you're using it as an excuse to attack (pirate or otherwise) your own faction players, simply because they do not bear your official tag. I would consider that OORP behavior for any member of the faction, official or otherwise, and it is not within official faction rights to do so unless the other player is acting in an out of character manner to begin with. Ever wonder why there's such animosity between indies and officials? Because people like you encourage that kind of behavior, striving to enforce that your group, because they paid a bit of money and got a few people together with similar tags, are better than anyone who isnt in your group - and you're using a loophole to extort other players who dont bend down and kiss your backsides. That's the kind of crap I've been trying to straighten out in the order since the days of Black Squadron, and for the most part I've kept both sides of the fence in line. Shame we dont have more players doing that for the rest of Sirius. @ the black sails - Lucend - 02-02-2010 ' Wrote:I dont think you got my point nighthawk (or ryoken). The LR- are are doing exactly what is expected of a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Do you think that just because you have a Rogue ID and tag and ship and want to pirate there, you should be entitled to every privilege that a well seasoned pirating veteran gets? Heck no! you need to build your reputation. It's tough being a rogue, or any pirate for that matter. And yes, because they are more organized, they can do that because that's what organization does. It allows you to become more than the sum of your parts. @ the black sails - Pinko - 02-03-2010 'Sides, we mostly rob people that deserve to be robbed. Like those Lodentes that are Rogue ID'd. @ the black sails - Baltar - 02-03-2010 I'd like to start seeing rival corporations beating on one another. There ARE enemies amongst trade groups ... but we NEVER EVER see them fighting over turf. Kinda strange don'tcha think? @ the black sails - Tenacity - 02-03-2010 ' Wrote:I'd like to start seeing rival corporations beating on one another. Corporations must abide by house laws, they are inherently lawful organizations (and civilian organizations at that). Any competition or undermining that might exist will be happening in offices, not on a battlefield. |
