DHC feedback - Cris - 02-11-2010 Well we demand that they leave, it usually goes along the lines of "this is our system" or "This is property of Daumann" or similar; we are following the rules, we dont just go lolpwn every miner in the system without prior RP, thats one of the first and more important rules for our patrol pilots, that before any hostile action against anyone proper RP must be present; even if its as simple as a fly by to scoop their ores, proper RP must be done and an InRP demand must be issued, again most of the time is a territorial demand. We dont RP arresting people because we are not the police; our "Law" in the omega systems is not based on what is fair for everyone, but what is good for the company. Thats the reason you won't see any patrol hunting down a corsair, or protecting a Kruger vessel from piracy; unless our members are involved in it, we won't waste resources and risk our pilots lives. DHC feedback - Wolfspirit - 02-11-2010 ' Wrote:> If we see our enemies we send him away or attack but never demand cargo or money - thats pirate job.Well its complicated. If we see pure RP, hessians are Daumann's only one true enemy, all other faction just competitor or possible business partner. So no question what happen if a hessian and a Daumann meet. More strange to see when a hessian demand money and then leave alone the Daumann transport. But its just the pure RP. Lets see the rules too. If we read over our ID description, we simply cant do this. We can demand only if we see blood diamond. Thats all. So if we demand something we break our descript, but if we dont demand nothing we break rule what defend the traders. BUT the question is, a hessian on a pirate transport is real trader? I dont think so. I saw a lot of time when used freighter/transport ships for piracy (Im sure all saw same), and I saw sometimes when a Haegemon mining ship used for piracy (have some nice screenshot about it). So what is the right behavior? I dont think that how thats work if we ask 1st in OOC //are you pirating or trading/mining with that ship? or like. We can be sure he will tell the truth, right? Because our ID descript dont let us demanding anything except blood diamond, because hessians is our most hated enemy, and because unlawfuls (hessians too) use transports/mining ships for piracy (and these ships never count as traders), we handle ALL hessians as pirates, whatever what he fly, he is possible destroyable target. Side note: funny how pirates try to find protection behind the rule what defend the traders, their targets:). DHC feedback - Vladimir - 02-11-2010 Oh well, the fact that your ID doesnt let you demand anything but blood diamonds is a bit messed up taking into account that that transports and miners need to be demanded before shooting at. Well, you won't have much trouble with shooting our PTs and Hegemons, as long as its not sudden silent pewpew, but demanding something - like leaving the area, yeah - it a good proof from rule-lawyering. Better safe than sorry. Speaking on this side-note - yes, its funny and it really irritates me. Also, there should be mentioned the fact that capship cant shoot down, lets say, pirating PT unless engaged by it, which is weird too. However, official house militaries now can do it and it's a good step to brighter tomorrow if you ask me. Hiding behind the rules is bad. DHC feedback - Dashiell - 02-17-2010 Guys, on behalf of the BHG: thanks for the event and a good show. keep it up. DHC feedback - Athenian - 02-17-2010 Just want to echo Dash's comments. Great event. Your website is excellent. Check the RHA message dump to see how disappointed they are that they let 50 million in credit cards slip through their fingers. DHC feedback - looqas - 02-17-2010 ' Wrote:Just want to echo Dash's comments. Great event. Indeed...:D I was genuinely amazed that you had loaded the Leipzig with credit cards. It was pretty intense hunt and I really enjoyed it. Kudos to you guys for making it work. - [RHA]Red.Autumn DHC feedback - Wolfspirit - 02-17-2010 Kudos to you too, how you played as we wished. I feared if we captured, the pirates ignore the escort and the transports die first. So for fair game, you can count the (almost) 50 mill credit card again on a train. Next week same time we will meet again I hope. DHC feedback - davnolan - 02-21-2010 ' Wrote:I keep this place for future changes and upgrades Is Kruger aware of that? They keep chasing Daumann miners away from the northern fields in Omega-7. DHC feedback - Cris - 02-21-2010 South Field: Daumann North fields= Kruger/IMG/MinerID/Trader/Freelancer and basically any one else; unless Kruger decides to do something about it. By admin order we are "allies" but inRP we respect each other's territory, they have the right to chase any daumann miner in the northern field, we chase off any one in our territory. Just if you are going aggressive on an intruder in the southern field you will have to find a way except direct aggression because someone will get angry and may end in a sanction report; not their fault, its a mistake being declared allies. So yeah they are aware. |
