As far as weapons go, bring some civilian or Outcast guns, my Morph has 2 lvl 9 and a lvl 8 Kraken mounted.
Oh, and get a CM dropper, you'll need it.

got 3 lvl 9 krakens on it, just wish I had bought a lvl 9 LF shield, maby I can organize something for that.
got into a fight with 2 gunboats today( a Navy and Farmers alliance group, strange) flew around for a bit shooting and having no impact, then ran off into the badlands, amazing little ship, just wish I could get the heavy fighter one without going through the official faction.

You can't.
The point is that if you could then we'd have half the server full of Nomad indies all luling into New York and go ***DARKNAME*** pew pewing everything.
