Indeed. The cruiser needs to be long, by it's very definition. Just look at the huntress, and how much a piece of crap that is in-asteroidia. Whereas the Outcast Destroyer (flat and long), Kusari Destroyer (ungodly thin), Liberty Cruiser (low cross-section, too), and so on-Big Wings On Capships Are Bad.

I agree with the meanings that spread wings are not the best construction for the Freelancer universe. I already tried the "Huntress" and it was horrible to fly through an asteroid field but i like more variety in design than a long and thin cylinder with some turret mounts. All Corsair fighters are looking like birds of prey and so i followed the design concept. It might be not a bad way that it looks like a romulan capship. I like the design of the romulan Warbird.

I'm sure that i will find a way to make it thinner but keeping the Corsair design.

Thanks

Try elongating that nose, the whole thing seems so compact. Cruisers are supposed to look mean.

If these get into the game after a few tweaks i will love you forever! the Corsairs are in need of a good cruiser and the bomber looks just fine to me.

If you could try and make it a little thiner and longer, like bring those side wings in a little closer to its body and then make it so the body is a little longer and then i think you'd be onto a real winner.

Great stuff man.

There are some changes.

and think about the corsair fighters. They are very short but wide.

i LOVE them!

if, in fact, i were a ship model myself.....i would have a polygomist marriage with these models.

It looks better now that the wings are shortened. I would actually elongate the main body of the cruiser, though. It's a bit stubby.

I love the bomber! The cruiser is a new kind of design; if it can be implemented so it is not too big a hassle flying it, it's all good! Keep up the good work!

Like the bomber

the cruiser is not really corsair enough....still like it...

I think the cruiser does look corsair, i like the improvements alot, i would just try to stretch it just a little more to make it longer, give it the same kind of skin as the Corsair gunboat and you have a real winner.

You don't no how bad the corsairs need a decent cruiser, this would be great.
