' Wrote:The transfer went ok,

you docked on Manhattan and mounted weapons.

you went on a mission.

redocked and weapons was not there.

this is so simple and not a bug. "THEY GOT SHOT OFF"

Now stop moaning get on playing or leave as you said you were doing.

You told me this in-game.

Continue to blame the discovery Mod for your own mistakes and then throwing a hissy fit because you lost something, is not the way to go.

Cheers

Are you brain dead?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The weapons were there until I docked! I was able to fire them while maneuvering to dock! They were displayed in the weapons list!

Even if you are right, I find it HIGHLY unlikely that 4 rogues shot off 3 guns without lowering my shields. If that's true then there's still a problem with the mod and that's that the weakest opponents in the game can destroy a fully armed and protected fighter.

It seems that either no one cares about the mod, or no one can accept the fact that there may be just a tiny problem with this mod. Get over yourselves, maybe take a minute and check to see if in fact there is a tiny little bug with your otherwise great mod. What's the point of having a section of the forum to report bugs/glitches in if you're just going to say: Oh, it can't be a bug, it's your problem not ours, now go away so we can bask in our perfection."

HOLD IT. Yes, Tony did miss it, and yes, we're all very sorry you lost your pretty Codies, but don't call the overworked Admins brain-dead, because if they don't whack you for it, I will, and Player Justice tends to be a lot harsher than Admin... If you can't get over it, be quiet and get off the server. If it was a bug, you should have nicely gone off to the Bugs thread and put it there; as it happens, I've seen similar things happen, and it's probably a Game Engine error, which Discovery has no control over, being a hardcode-free mod, so don't blame the mod. Don't have tantrums, people don't like it...

I fail to see how it could be the mod when this has never happened once before since the 2 years this mod has been active, nor the 3 months or so its been this specific version. Its on your side, reinstall your game.

Did I ever ask for my codes back? Did I ask for my antimatter cannon back? No, I just said that there might be a problem in need of fixing.

Yeah, I am getting off the server, already have.

I was trying to help improve the mod here by reporting a possible problem, thinking that maybe someone here cared enough about the mod to maybe check to see if there was indeed a problem. But the response I got was either "It's your problem" or "Not my problem" or "I don't care". Way to go discovery mod team.

I guess I need to repeat this.. In the 3 months this version has been out, there has not been ONE incident like this. Many people have done the same things you have, so it WOULD have happened by now if it were going to.

It IS your game or internet connection, not the mod. If it were the mod, it would have happened at least once in the two years its been running.

Bug/Glitch - Eppy - 09-05-2007

Oh-Hoh! Now we're going after the whole Mod Team? Well, what a pleasant surprise. We told you it wasn't the mod, and god knows we know better how it and the game itself works, but no-o-o, it's obviously the Modders faults, I never said you asked for your toys back, you just made an issue of losing them and made it look like the reason for this little tantrum of yours. No, it's not the mod, it's the game engine or your connection/machine, so quit whining, and never go after the Admins or Modders. Also, did you notice the Bug Reports thread conveniently pinned? Also, what's Get over yourselves? Hmm...is it a petty insult by a frustrated little boy?

Yes I understand that everyone here enjoys flaming people, and that you all believe it to be my problem. It may well be my problem. But, if it isn't, and it turns out later that lots of other people start having the same problem, well maybe my attempt at being helpful will pay off.

I was sticking around to see if anyone would concede to the fact that perhaps not everything they do is perfect, and that maybe someone would want to hear about a possible bug in their programming. Apparently no one does.

Bug/Glitch - Eppy - 09-05-2007

Ah... check the bug reports thread and tell me Igiss doesn't listen...
