Screaming at me ain't gonna get anything done as i'm not home from 5pm Central to awfully close to 10pm, since I teach Taekwondo. I'm only able to make this post since I am not teaching the current class.
The server is now back up.
Igiss, we need to talk about the damn thing crashing on maintenance again.. it's not doing it as often, but once every two maintenances...

Well, it should have something to do with memory management in Windows 2000, cause in Windows XP/2003 the server did not take as much memory as it's taking now. Memory usage can rise up to 200 Mb in several hours, and before I could keep it online for 2 days (with nearly same amount of players) and memory usage never rised above 150 Mb. I tried to install some kind of memory cleaner, but it hangs the server every time.

igiss, i'm gonna look into finding my copy of Windows 2003.. I have XP, but I dno't want to use it for terminal services (horribly insecure)

It is supposed that 2000 is one of the best memory-performing windows.....
Im going to run some test of a FL server running under linux xandros (or Debian with the Wine emulator)....
