We are under attack! Requesting immediate back-up. It seems to be an Eagle and a Nomad fighter. There are more ships on long-range scanners, possibly Corsair or Outcast fighters.

All ships! This is the RNC Shadel! We were orbiting in Cella Dor's shadow, watching the Areus' back. But these guys came in to attack directly! Several torpedos hit the Areus, and they fired everything they had into the engine and the bridge. They just fled into the Nebula, out of sensor range. We've scrambled a fighter wing to track them down, but..

Marx Long from the PD nadesico. I am proceding to the omincron gamma system. We have been attacked by several nomad battleship patrols while enroute I recommend using extreme caution when traveling in the omicron systems. Have so far been unable to locate the terrorist Kieran. As this Phantom pirate group has claimed they have Virus I have begun enquiries to locate their base of operations. I will be arriving ... huh? ... WHAT?..All hands to battle stations! Red alert! Incoming missiles!
All turrets target the fighters!... Forward guns target the battleship!...............VHF on a kamikaze attack sir!....(loud explosion, several screams)...... This is Captain Defel. After searching the area around Cella Dor we have found little more than small debris, We think that the larger pieces have burned up in Cella Dor's atmosphere.
But we have found a few escape pods, out of 14 only 1 contained a living human. Currently he is under critical condition. Our doctors could not determine if or when he will be in a condition to talk, due to the injuries he has sustained.
We will release word when he is capable of questioning.
Due to the conditions arizing in the Omicrons we request any non-military craft be escorted through our systems.
