This might be a 'Fun' concept for some time... But, If you randomly explode every once in a while - Specially On your Trader when you're taking the Last Jumphole to the System you're taking the Cargo to - After a few months, You'll be the first one who'll come and whine about it on Forums. So, Thanks but No thanks!
It's even named "Unstable Jumphole", and when you jump, It does something completely random to you. You might explode at the end of the jump, might just get out of the other end of the same jumphole, ... Or, it might just shoot you to some random system around Sirius! Jump Hole Failures? - Glis - 04-28-2010 I got an idea, just hear me out, Maybe the devs should make some JH's in some random systems which are rarely used and make them Unstable like the one in OM-94 but it doesn't kill you, it just sends you to a random system, but those Unstable JH's don't connect, so heres an example of my "idea" Your in Omicron Lost, and you find an Unstable Jumphole and say "Hmm i wonder where this leads to." And you jump trough the hole and it takes you to, Coronado, and the JH behind you is a Cortez JH, that would be super awesome! |
