Korrd program has a firing benefit though. You can easily back up your account so that you never have to fear a hard drive failure. Well wort the extra few minutes of clicking. I tend to have multiple characters per faction. I try to keep all my like characters grouped.

I cant remember the link, but there is a 50-account storage FLID changer somewhere, which can create new IDs with a button.
I`m using the original FLID changer atm and its simply less flexible and tidy than the big one.
Anyone here know where to find the newer one?

Wait... you've been here for 750 plus posts and you still didn't know this? Maybe I shouldn't be so mean...
To create a new account number you create a new account in windows (or log into one thats never run FL before) and then open FL and go multiplayer at which point it will create a new number for you. After that you open the FAM and it automatically adds it to its database. Bingo Bango you're done.

I'm not trying to be mean, mate, but all the information you could possibly ever want relating to FAM is in the readme.
I don't blame you for not reading the instructions though... real men don't read instructions... ;)

Dope, as lock said, not that hard to read the manual. The rest of us figured it out on our own.
But... as Eppy said, the 1:40 delay between characters is extremely annoying. It doesn't serve any purpose, just annoys the majority of Discovery. We need FAM, so we can actually log onto the game on another account, instead of waiting.

readme? all i downloaded was the exe file that installed the program. i guess i better start lookin through the program files.
