I'd like to see the rebellion in Dresden, with the RH against the RM and RFP. This could be a crucial turning point in Rheinland as Dresden could be removed from lawful control.

BAF vs. GRN has gotta be...
OC vs Sair does sound like alot of fun.. although i can see it just turning into dread spam.
RM vs LN would also be very but be alot of cap spam almost certainly. Maybe only allow higher ranked official people or special requests to have battleships and such.
of course the RH sair fighter fight does sound entertaining too.
Ah stuff it lets just do a mass set up of all the different stuff we could do. Back them all up then have a fun event every 2 weeks or so! Could keep it going even after le patch.

Our first thought for the next event was Omega 47, we had a pretty cool idea in mind but the hook tools that would be required to make it happen wouldn't be done in time.
Eta is a second idea and one which is favorable.
I'm also thinking that a potentially cool idea -might- be enacting the Gallic civil war. GRN versus Council with a few other bodies flitting about the middle.
I do find the idea of doing the GRN push over again to be somewhat compelling...
I think that one thing that people really love about these events is getting a chance to putter around in something which otherwise is somewhat foreign to them. Nomad ships, Gallic stuff and so on. I'm thinking it might be fun to throw in a third party with the next (or future) event to act as an intriguing wildcard for fun. Something like the SCRA so the general public can enjoy flying forks around.

The sigmas would be cool. GMG/Outcasts/Corsairs. Those systems are bloody crowded however.

I'd like to 'campaign' for the Red Hessian/Corsair battle of O47 (not O5 though).
Personally, I feel one of the highlights of the Omega 47 is that there are already three factions, the Bounty Hunters, Red Hessians and Corsairs. All of the three factions hate each other enough to not want to ally with one side to defeat the other, something which happened during the Order/BHG/Nomad event (which sorta wtfpwned the Nomads towards the start as they were outnumbered and out gunned ridiculously).
Second, the map is just plain downright large. This allows a lot of movement and battle space. The fights themselves don't necessarily have to be large either, they can be spread out due to all the space available, which certainly contribute to reducing the lag since we all know that when there are more people in a confined area, theres obviously more lag.
If in the end we are given a chance to fight in O47, I'd just like to see absolutely no capships, because the KNF/GRN event was dominated with Gallic BS's and Bombers, and KNF Hatchets. The Order/BHG event (I wasn't there for long when the nommers arrived) was dominated almost entirely with Battleships and Battlecruisers. I'd like to see for once we have a fight which is dominated by fighters, gives some of us the chance to improve our PVP skills too.
Personally I wouldn't mind to see an Outcast/Corsair battle of Omicron Eta but the problem is that there would be capital ships, something which ahs dominated the last two events, something which IMO is getting quite annoying. If the Battle for Eta was reduced to just fighters and no capital ships, I wouldn't mind it one bit either, but I'd still want to fight in O47 simply because the Nebula looks awesome:).

I had that one in the poll at first too, but turned it into "others" since I couldn't grab a more detailed idea about it.
When mentioning the SCRA the Wilde are coming to my mind too.
And yeah, the ability to easily test out different equipment without having to trade for it are a major part of the fun for sure.
