the one with the cockpit on the bottom looks messed up.
like, just an upside down boat.
so.
flip it rightside up.
way too much of a slope on that screen...think about the way people sit...
legs take up forward space, so you have to be farther back, occludes you range of sight.

The Border World Transport - ghostcat - 10-23-2007

Well, what's the size of this thing? If it's the size of a blimp or bigger, there would be plenty of room in spite of the slope. I still like B better though.

The Border World Transport - McNeo - 10-23-2007

Voted A...

Just think it looks more unique that way.

The Border World Transport - Gamazson - 10-23-2007

I don't know, I am pretty attached to the under-slung cockpit idea.

The Border World Transport - Unseelie - 10-23-2007

thing is....if it is an under slung cockpit...and, btw, we should be terming this a 'bridge'
anyway, if the bridge is under-slung, I think the screen is shaped wrong.

The Border World Transport - Gamazson - 10-23-2007

Actually it looks like an eagles cockpit. Hmm I never thought to mention it in the development thread but the 'bridge' really should look somewhat angular, like the cockpits on the sabers and Dromedary. But the model is finished, and quite frankly I can live with it the way it is.

The Border World Transport - mohr - 10-23-2007

The size of this will be roughly the size of the cargo section on a large train.

Looks like B is winning.

The slant of the bridge window was made that extreme of an angle because I like the idea of being able to look down out of the bridge just as much as you can look straight forward. Just a bit styalized. It also keeps the similarity to BW fighters. With the bridge on the top, the angle does look a little bit excessive.

Anyways, we'll see what the people want...
