Moldy Crow Equipment - The Doctor - 07-16-2010 Got it. 3 shieldbusters and 4 hullbusters is better than a 2/5 setup, and CD instead of torps or MR. I'm not allowed to use a Tizona del Cid Pulse Turret without permission, so I'll stick with a Deb. Mk I class 4 Turret. So: three Adv. Debs. and four Fury 5. Sounds better? =] Moldy Crow Equipment - Bad.Wolf - 07-16-2010 ' Wrote:Thanks for the prompt responses, everybody. ;D The purple goddess Chain gun is not a recommended gun on that ship. the drain is too much, and it is a HF which needs to compansate so i suggest .. (this is a freelancer/mercenary/Bounty hunter Load out.) -2 Adv. Debs MkI (class 8) -4 Buckshot (class 9)(does more damage per second and slow rate of fire weapons just means you need to be a bit more accurate, like hit and runs, take 2-3 volly shots then turn(if you are doing jousting)and it has an improved range and 750m/s speed, but sacrifice damage, only a small bit and is better at keeping the ships powerplant more inuse) -1 Buckshot turret. -Enhanced thruster -ADV cargo scanner -Armor upgrade VIII (2.5times) -Nuke or ripper mine(nuke if you pefer more damage, ripper for a better chance of hitting the enemy(while jousting) Train CD if you want to stop people from fleeing or a MR if you want to end a fight quickly(only in jousting, and only if you know how to use it) the reason for this load out is the speed of the projectiles are fast and all the guns keep up with each other at 750m/s. so that is my reason .. Moldy Crow Equipment - The Doctor - 07-16-2010 Okay.. this thing is nowhere near finished as I tought it was oO Good thing I asked instead of buying first =P I'll test that loadout too, Wolf. thanks. =] Moldy Crow Equipment - Seylah - 12-14-2011 I necro'd this thread because my Outcast is currently flying a Moldy Crow and I need some help setting it up. Right now I have the following kit: 2x Advanced Debilitator MK1 (Class 8's - 750 ms projectile speed) 4x Heavy Flashpoints (Class 9's - 750 ms projectile speed) 1x Advanced Debilitator MK1 turret (Class 4 - 700 ms projectile speed) 1 Train Cruise Disruptor The guns I use aren't that bad but they aren't great either. They peel the shields of enemy fighters almost effortlessly but I'm struggling with hull damage. I don't normally use the turret in my weapon group because I find it's unnecessary and wastes energy. I thought about replacing the Cruise Disruptor with a Sunslayer torpedo or a Starkiller, but torpedoes are kind of useless I've found unless you are jousting which is a very bad idea in a Moldy Crow since it's pretty big and easy to hit unless you're actively dodging. Any suggestions on my setup? I want my guns to have equal projectile speeds. I was using Kraken Type 2's but they suck too much energy and the damage isn't really better than the Flashpoints. I use Ripper mines because they are cheap and I find they stick to the target more often than Nuclear mines. They don't do enough damage to kill the target though and I struggle to use them effectively; I can't seem to hit them with my Cruise Disruptor in the way that I want.
