Not JUST crossbows Sov, we also got a killer Robot (Shagohad's), i use my TT-33 Pistol or beat the everloving stuffing outta a guy before shoving him out an airlock/get a pair of Sub-Lt's to execute him/her. ^_^
Every time i log onto my SCRA I get somebody asking "How i joinz Coalition, i Rus so i join yes?", it's funny yet pathetic, so i direct them to our recruitment, if closed than i inform them that they must wait for the next cycle. ^_^
Our screening process tends to get rid of most/all idiots who apply, once you enter our offices your ours to toy with until we get to the heart of the matter, of who your character is and what he/she stands for. ^_^ I'm one of the more...Lenient commanders who give alittle more leeway, but if you get Alvin, Shagohad or one of the more 'tough as nails' guys than it's a fair bet your about to become toast!:D

Pilots, when on their characters ingame and receive a PM from someone else ingame about joining, are generally encouraged to completely ignore the sender or refer them to a high-command member if they are online.
High Command, in turn, tends to order the lower ranks to actively hunt down said PM-er with dispatch.

Technically we are an open faction, we just weed out the idiots. >_> if your talking about making the ID availible to everyone than I have an answer to that: Only when all the planets align, Kusari's Emperor being forced to wear a victorian-style dress, the Phantoms become peace-loving hippies, the Mollys lose Dublin forever and I go missing.
:)That should be enough to tell you how much I hate that idea. ^_^

The SCRA recruitment channel...is it truly think up a char, and write up a post about boarding your cruiser / sitting in the waiting room / quivering before the commissioner? Or do applicants talk these things over with you beforehand?
