It must be forced server-side. If you run the server with parameter /p2333 then all players connect using port 2333. Righ now we have it forced to run at port 2302 which you need open to be able to connect to it. I'd like to avoid changing the server's port as that change might affect all other players...:(
I'll try the Hamachi again, I can restrict access to it's port to certain IP adresses only in the firewall so it's shouldn't be a big security hole. I uninstalled it when I was trying to figure out why the server kept restarting itself, but it was the faulty memory....
