Niiiiice. I haven't done close-ups yet but I'll get there eventually.

Terragen 2 is free?! I remember when I got Terragen 1, they said 2 was going to cost money. Time to go download!:)

It costs money IF and only IF you use it for commercial purposes.

But anyway so far the free version allows you to make up to 800x600 pics max.

Really cool pictures both of you.

A couple of critiques (constructive critisizm, not an attack, take it or leave it)

Caribe:
Pictures 1+2 have too little contrast to be real life photos, they are great for a dream shot but not really RL
Picture 2: The clouds shadows are a little too dark, if the shadow is that dark that means that the cloud should be really dense and dark like a raincloud but it looks fairly white to me. Besides, the big black splotch on the ground doesn't match the clouds, and it takes away from the picture.

Dopamino: The mountains look like they were pasted onto a background picture. esp the lower middle part, the line there is choppy and very sharp, a little blur in photoshop might be able to fix that.

Props to both of you though, you both have great talent in this area (where I have none btw) and I look forward to more stuff like this.

Na, I just found it on this guy's DeviantArt page when I was browsing through his ship concepts.

Of course it doesn't match the clouds. Those are lakes aka water. :)

Looks really good, but being the photoshop whore/Nazi I am, I can see a small bit of pixilation where the clouds meet the sky. Mostly just near the top of the image, I don't see much of it anywhere else. Otherwise, great picture. No clue how you did it, I'm strictly a spacescape maker..

Oh, *feels very sheepish* No wonder it didn't make sense.

In that case I would revise my critique to be:

Add a color gradiant to the lakes, bodies of water have different depths and different depths reflect colors differently.
