its basically a pirate raid with tons of RP and a big fight (if there are a lot of people) so.
so when you happen to be at a lane with a amount of pirates
maybe some transport corp wants to cooperate and just do it in game without even a special date. just some //pm wanna do some fun hostage situation traders convoy thingie? trader call the navy or whatever and there goes the pew pew. although I suppose it might get chaos and needs a overview.
(now I think about it)
so far people seem to like the general idea.:)
so just keep posting here when you like it and I might realize this idea with some factions.
And I suppose indies can join when the numbers are short.

I'd like to participate as an LR, but since there seems to be a shortage of transports I think I could rummage one up somewhere.
Has anyone thought about asking the [Convoy] folks about this? Seems like their bread and butter.

Convoy could actually be a very good group for the transport and escorts, since they have their own at the moment, but i've heard some bad things about their RP

I'm rather busy with other stuff atm then this event,
So I won't be hooking any faction for this neither organizing this for some day soon.
Although this could mean convoy dudes could make their little group known as good RP'ers;)

I very much like the idea and considering i don't play much this will get me back and i could also RP with my Luxury Yacht carrying VIP's along the convoy... or something.. or just borrow money from Crusader and make a, LN,LR,LPI,Hacker,Freelancer fighter...

This event still being considered? Because I would love to get involved in it as a transport pilot, could get a Train and be a part of it, since I've 100 mil saved on my Freelancer char.
