I think they could come less often yes.... today while updating map on one of my characters I started to think that newbies get scared by all those messages... like:
"... is not allowed.... sanction is temporary ban"
20s later...
" you are not allowed...."
.....
Maybe slower frequency or just keep only the ones that point out to the forums?

I'm running FL at a res of 1000 by 780 or so...its the highest res available in the options...

thats strange, my options offer up to something rediculous like 1920x1600 or so. - original non patched version of FL - no low budget/patched postrelease here. tried that highest resolution once - my screen made a soft *sigh* and said good bye .....

My max res is 1128x960 I think, bad memory/not at home.. you get the gist
Why does it offer strange resolutions then? I've got a decent gfx card and screen, and I know they can go higher than that.
Must be the game limiting it for some reason?

I agree with the Lady, their frequency should drop, though not that much... it does get distracting, though not so disastrously for me as I'm a Battleship jouster.
Also, I don't think she was trying to be offensive, Tony, maybe you shouldn't bite so hard for a little thing like that...

The available Resolutions depend on your graphics card. I have to run FL on a low res just to cope with large battles. The Console messages are huge to me :D

Not so sure about the position of the messages changing...I don't think that can be moved....the frequency is higher than before the changes to FLHook...they just tend to be too often now

I don't have a problem with them, but I do find it odd that there's an in-game message telling people how to install the mod.
