In search of faction - Sturmwind - 12-13-2010 I'd suggest the Rheinland AGS too or the Volksfront, both of those factions are rather low on activity. If it's not Rheinland, I'd recommend you the Golden C. or try joining the BPA then, good bunch of people. In search of faction - ophidian - 12-13-2010 First of all, ignore the faction adds, ask yourself what kind of RolePlaying you want to do. Then type it in detail (there was a questionaire around here some time ago regarding which faction to join) then let people help you about your aim. Otherwise, this place will be like "join this, join that" it will be more confusing then helpful. You want a medium to small faction and you have mining skills. This narrows down the options a bit but the mining options are somewhat available to all factions. I remember having mining operations for Order|, you figure. So lets create some helpful questions: - Where do you like most to be around in Sirius: (this seems unimportant but it affects our tendencies usually) - What kind of a character you want to roleplay? Criminal, Lawful, Gray area etc. - You want action or only mining? - What faction story so far affected you and why? If any. - You willing to make credits or seldomly in for the RP - You want politics involved or seldomly the trade / mining part and so and so. In search of faction - nuja - 12-13-2010 ' Wrote:The Virulian Enclave is trying to become an official faction and we are looking for a few people to help us in this matter. There are 2 parts to the VE, the fighters, aka the EDF, of the traders/diplomats. The basic backstory is that we are a human/machine religious group that have ever growing influence in the omicrons and omegas. intresting but why dont you use al fighter or al cruiser? ' Wrote:I'd suggest you the CR, we are cool. too active, and not intresting ' Wrote:First of all, ignore the faction adds, ask yourself what kind of RolePlaying you want to do. I can guarantee you it's nothing you have ever done before. If you're smart enough, and like a challenge, you can sit back and enjoy yourself as you watch the concept of having to trade for credits become obsolete at first, and completely ridiculous as you go along. That doesn't mean everyone can do it. Can you? I can't tell. In search of faction - sable - 12-16-2010 You made the right choice bro;) In search of faction - Captain - 12-16-2010 things of suggestion: Molly Separatists: pros: easy to learn RP, hard to master. lots of fun and bragging around in dublin and around that. you can annoy miners and other folk. cons: sometimes you can be lone or outnumberred by injuns and other gankers. In search of faction - 'Ends' - 12-16-2010 ' Wrote:things of suggestion:That is the con of every faction dude. Also,if you annoy miners,CptHone will come and kill you:P If you think you're ready, try to apply for the Keepers., you can pew anyone you want with the right and acceptable amount of rp but everyone will try and gank you:P, people seem to hate Nomads these days... In search of faction - Coin - 12-16-2010 There is no reason why you cant join a bunchy of factions at once, trial them out, see which ones are the funnest, and which ones suck the joy out of life. Smuggling is fun. it makes a little cash - not as much as mining, sure - but you get to skippity-hoppity through systems avoid both police AND pirates. The alaska run is also a hell of a run, as you have to dodge the order (cos you have artifacts on board), dodge the bounty hunters who want to know why the order dont like you, dodge the occasional lulwot corsair (it happens, sigh), dodge the nommies in alaska itself, dodge the LSF npcs from scanning you, hope like hell there isnt a fleet of 981497590457947517590 LN players waiting the other side of the gate, then dodge the mines around the gate, dodge all the rogues and outcasts, and lets face it, lane hackers dont like corsairs THAT much, and then flip a mental coin to see if you take the short fast route down the lanes, or the slow and steady route over/under the sun, to land on the dock and have a big fat healthy profit. or you can go the other route, and dodge the hessians, the mollys and the outcasts in bretonia, as well as the bret lawfuls. bored? im usually sitting in a puddle of sweat when i finish a run! In search of faction - nuja - 12-16-2010 thank you all for giving ideas but i have joined Brigand Legion des Damnes gallia have suprised me |
