Today's project - Marburg - 02-24-2011 I don't say this to poke fun in any way, shape or form 'cause I know that life simply is what it is, but I have to take notice of how in a pinch when modern infrastructure can't be relied upon, that old-school tech like that can still be posted on the net worldwide in the blink of an eye. I mean, for the time being, ya gotta poop in a bucket & can't flush with the pull of a lever, but yet you can still show the world with the push of a button. How can you explain something like that later to those that never experienced it? /profound societal thinking mode Today's project - Markus_Janus - 02-24-2011 Your carpentry skills are really shown off with the installation of grass. No dunny should be without it. Today's project - AeternusDoleo - 02-24-2011 On a brighter side, considering you're on the forum Cannon, I must assume most your power grid was located above ground...? Today's project - Anonymous User - 02-24-2011 ' Wrote:Yeah in our area it is...but 60% of the city still doesn't have power or water lucky guy. the pictures i saw in german tv were daaaamn scary... videos of people running away... buildings collapsed behind them. did not thought yar have power anywhere. Today's project - Cannon - 02-24-2011 They're saying that they're will be around 200 dead by the time they find them all. A lot of people were crushed in about 4 buildings that collapsed. This is a small city; everybody is bound to know somebody who's died (i do). Tomorrow's project is a soak pit for waste water from the shower. I stink. Because we have the "ability" to make fun in situations like that:P Kudos (Oh and... I saw on the local news that a romanian woman is missing. She was a teacher at a school over there) |
