Seems I got that wrong. I thought I read in the KPT description (wiki) that they follow the direct orders of the Emperor. I know that's just RP wise. But that's where I wanted to give the KNAS independancy (RP wise). If the KPT also acts independantly from the Emperor than I'm gonna close this post and forget about the new faction as it would truly be a ripoff (even though I didn't know about the KPT at first)

I think his idea is that they aren't so much stuck in Bretonia and ignoring the Emperor. I think he means they went to Bretonia under order and their zeal keeps them there. Their pure hatred of the Brets also fuels their desire to stay there and wage war in the Emperor's name, ignoring the Emperor he tries to re call them.
Kind of a rogue unit that is till doing most of what it should be doing, maybe in a more destructive manner.

If you don't follow the Emperor's orders, you are to be destroyed by the KNF and KPT, you also can't use any KNF base or any lawful (lawfuls from a KNF point of view) base along the taus, Kusari or leeds.
If you want to play as an independent KNF ignoring the Emperor's orders and the Taisho's orders, you should be serious and don't use any KNF base.
Or at least you didn't clarify which bases you're gonna use.
