What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Chase - 03-07-2011 I do love fighting people in my gunboat and destroyer. If it's 2 fighters or 1 fighter one bomber vs my Gunboat, I'm a happy camper. Also, I fought the SCUD guys in Dublin once on my Destroyer and one of theirs came in after we sort of split for a moment. That was one of my favorite fights. Let's put it this way, any time I get to use my ship for what it's meant to do. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - TheJarl - 03-07-2011 I PvP with words:P But if I have to do it with words, then I like an equal fight, preferably with me in my gunship, and even though I will probably be an easy target when accompanied by only fighters/bombers, after I am shot down as one of the first I can laugh about it, and not be grumpy about it. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Yerland - 03-07-2011 I like a fight where there is a chance or fights that swing both ways throughout dramatically. I wont deny that I dislike losing but only run in my GB(often because I'm dead before I can run in a fighter), in my GB running is still a fight and sometimes getting out of CD range with a bunch Navy on your tail feels like a victory. I very much dislike 100% one sided fights, for either side. When a trader doesn't pay and starts shooting at me there is little joy as his ship lights up the sky. I've also been part of a massive spontaneous pirate fleet in New york, watching 6 fighters try to get one dodging eagle is not fun, and obviously when jumped by 4 fighters and have no chance of escape i don't like it. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Rommie - 03-07-2011 An enjoyable fight is one in which both sides respect eachother inRP and ooRP(and the 'scum/trash' thing is getting very, very redundant). A raid that encounters an equal force, and the balance is kept throughout the engagement is something that I call an enjoyable fight. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Zelot - 03-07-2011 If a fight gets my adrenaline pumping then I am happy. I rarely win in a fight, so that doesn't matter much, I just like to feel my heart rate go up. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Stuart.croll - 03-07-2011 Basically any fight that I can make last for more than 1 minute because I suck at PVP!:$ What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Mao - 03-07-2011 I like ganking, shield running and attacking players that have lower PvP skills than me (hard to believe there are people like that). I like winning and I'd run as soon as I'd realize the enemy is better just because I don't want to offer him the blue message (especially if the enemy is a merc or hunter that needs that message). What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Jack_Henderson - 03-07-2011 One that ends before my hands hurt and my eyes feel sore and I go "Ah, come on, just shoot me, this is crap". Sometimes I just lose or do stupid things (and lose often thus) to make it end faster. As almost all Fighterfights last forever, I like to fight in situations in which one side is outnumbered, so that things have an end faster. Important in this one: There should be a valid ingame explanation why it is okay to "gank" the other party, e.g. if pirates attack you directly next to your base, it's logic that you might have more ressources... if a miner is pinned down and you have (per chance) 5 escorts close, throw them all on the 2 enemies (even though they might not see this as fair). A good fight is also a fight that has some ingame logics. That means that there should be no situations in which "furball" happens and random people fight random people without knowing the reason. A good fight makes me hold my breath when I joust and makes me go "Ahhh!" when I mess my minedrop or catch the minirazor. And after a fight I lose I always ask the other player for 1 piece of advice on the topic: What would I have to change to have a bigger chance afterwards. I almost always get a positive answer and some useful advice. So I can look forward and try that out, the other player knows I'm having no hard feelings and OORPly things are fine. What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Disco - 03-07-2011 I just love group fights. I enjoy the fights where roleplay has taken place, not just: 'ENEMY DAI' What is your definition of "Enjoyable Fight"? - Talesin - 03-07-2011 Greetings. Well i enjoy those fights which have epic moments, like when a hostile Capship is killing several Fighters of it's faction with Missiles, or those back in time when i manage to take down cruisers with my liner when i had Fighter Support. Or when you take ages to beat down Battleships with a Bombergank. What i don't like are Fighter vs Fighter pvps, no madder if it's a 1on1 or a Furball, those are just plain boring in my opinion.
