The Maltese are just about as close as you can get to Italy underneath the iron boot of Mussolini without having a Nazi fetish (though that could be fixed if Alec created an Outcast)... still... I approve of this idea since there are different varieties of fascism which could prove to be quite interesting when applied to Freelancer.
Oh, and the way you propose to handle captured tech makes a lot more sense than some OTHER imbeciles I know of. That's all the more reason to like you, I suppose.

If you allow communist faction on this server, you cannot ban fascist one too. If someone asked me who was worse if Stalin or Hitler I think I would say Stalin.
He was mass murdering paranoid beast and reigned much much longer then Hitler did.
Starting famine in Ukraine ON PURPOSE is just one of his huge crimes.

I'm kinda curious as to what will be your ranks. The only thing that would make sense is having two ranks. The Leader of Il Movimento. And Followers of Il Movimento. 'Cause.. If you had like three ranks, the one in the middle would be able to boss around the lower rank, and that just wouldn't make any sense. Ye?
Also there's no prob with 2 ranks. I just felt like throwing that out there.

It doesn't say that the government is a democracy in words, but "A government of the people, by the people, for the people" does sound like a democracy to me, with the fair voting and equal representation. If you could fill me in with the actual Outcast politics that would be appreciated.

Mussolini didn't have a Nazi fetish. In fact, for most of his rule he sided with Britain and France against Germany by signing the Stresa Front, which was to protect Austrian independence and prevent Germany from making any changes to the Treaty of Versailles. He was kicked out of the Italian socialist party in 1915 for supporting Britain and France in WWI. Mussolini's invasion of Abyssinia saw him start to drift away from the two countries and toward Nazi Germany, eventually leading to the Pact of Steel in May 1939. He didn't actually like the Nazis, but after Britain and France cut various trade shipments to Italy following the invasion of Abyssinia (which he believed they had approved of when he received no response) pushed Italy into "Germany's outstretched arms".
I did an essay on how Italy affected Germany during the war and researched this sort of stuff, it you're wondering how I know.
