Kusari explorer is cool. I usually fulfill bounty contracts on this ship. Works like clock. But one disadvantage it is very slow.
If to compare kusex and imperator, imperator loose despite on armor and guns amount. Cause imperator is big as barn.

Interestingly Bretonian GB is not that much bigger than Kusari Explorer, turns faster, has much more armor and more bots + very good extra forward gun which also acts as SN catcher from the top.
Yet Bretonia GB is considered to suck... and Kusari Explorer to be great.
Imperator is more allround than both of them.

That's because KuEx is the only "Generic" Gunboat around. So, with the lack of other readily accesible gunboat class craft, it's good enough.

I fly an explorer with zoner turrets and I personally have a very hard time killing other gunboats 1v1. That said, if you think this is strange, pm me and tell me what I'm doing wrong..
