Just to point out ... Its still leaking.
So much for Wednesday morning.
Also we could just switch water companies. But that won't fix the fact theres now a pond across my drive where the path used to be.
Plus I don't think a new company would be happy if we switched to them and said "Oh by the way, our pipes leaking and our last company dug it up, can you come fix it?".

Worst case is if they need to source a fitting and then it might be the next day.

I reckon the mob who does our water would be there as soon as they were told about it.
We CAN NOT let water just leak away in Perth, right now it looks like we could be hit with some pretty bad restrictions this summer if we the dams don't fill up before then and that would suck severely.

Keep in mind... it may seem like a waste.. but any water that escapes... goes probably right back into the main water source.
The only waste is the bit of chemicals that went into purifying it.
Somebody will drink it somewhere down the line.
