I'd only agree if this range worked for indies too, without any discrimination towards them.
That'd increase amount of corporate traders, who actually will be forced to RP, still being persuaded by their greed.

This. It is just another bonus to those who choose Faction,over Indie. Unless it is something that benifits every player in game equally? I vote NO!
Also if this ever did happen? Everyone would go to non faction bases. I know i would. If they got money from say 1 Guard base,and 1 only? sure maybe,but all bases? No fracking way. No one should get free cred's for no work.

Dam right. I see no reason some players get free cash,and others do not. You cut out 75% of player base. Actually more,as only a select few will have access to these free creds. Mainly leaders,who can use for anything including all their own characters.
It will be abused,not might. WILL!
Hell even admins have to earn their own creds.

I stand by my earlier position - instead of free money (which would come from NPC faction users mainly) give the manufacturing factions (whole) a discount on their own gear. Official factions get paid RPly anyway and it's become customary, that foreign buyers send some token money to the faction as part of the deal.

If this were to ever be implemented, we'd look for way it make it abuse free...if at all possible. And yes, official factions, and admins for that matter, deserve additional income due to the hard work they put into their faction. Hard work that not only doesn't pay back, but which was/is both very costly and time consuming.

Evenly for every purchase? Across all chars belonging to the NPC factions? Those numer in the hundreds yanno...

I can't remember exactly what/when/where the discussion was for this idea, but when discussing rewards / profit for official faction:
- don't have the reward in cash form.
- send it to somewhere that Admins can keep a confidential tally.
- give faction leaders access to that source.
- that amount can be redeemed for things such as free ships or equipment.
This is just a rough concept, though.
OP, it's an interesting idea.
