This is one of the many scenarios I can envision were this command to be added. Besides, we already have -newplayer, which while not as concise as the more targeted /friend would be, still works for both finding out when buddies log on.
Oh, and mwerte? Let's just...ignore the fact that you'd be the one getting blue messages in that gank, kay?
