Best keyboard layout for a fighter? - Thrasymachus - 04-04-2011 I use the following, and it works for me: W - Strafe Up S - Strafe Down D - Strafe Right A - Strafe Left Tab: Thruster Q - Drop Mine X - Reverse Z - Engine Kill V - Rear View H - Turret View R - Next Subtarget (Guns, Turrets, etc.) Shift + R - Previous Subtarget 1 to 6 - Activate Weapon Group Shift + 1 to 0 - Turn on/off weapon 1-10 Space - Mouse Flight F - Shield Batteries G - Nanobots O - Scan Mouse 1 - Mouse Flight Mouse 2 - Fire Mouse 3 (Click Mouse Wheel) - Cruise Disruptor Mouse 4 (Left Button Side of Mouse) - Countermeasures Weapon's Group 1: Full Guns Weapon's Group 2: Only Hull Busters Weapon's Group 3: Only Shield Busters Weapon's Group 4: Energy Efficient Hull Busters (Usually only 2 so energy regenerates while firing - Important for fighters fighting transports) Weapon's Group 5: Heavy Hitting Weapons (Mini Razor, Missiles, Torp) Weapon's Group 6: Countermeasures (Autofire) |
