Admins have stated they will use their largest hammer on people who do what is described in the OP. Edit: Just saw Cannon's post............in the past? Can you clarify for us? Edit 2: Bleh. I hate reading. PvP abuse? - Exsiled_one - 04-06-2011 I think internet killed our attention span. There's roleplay and there's being a sadistic prick. I don't know how mentally deranged is your pirate but killing for sake of fun was never within pirate ID. Go ahead and ask for his entire cargo, then sell him back some at some price. But asking for credits and then blowing the guy up is something I avoided even with terrorist ID. This of course does not mean that there aren't situations where I killed a man after I pirated him, even with Corsair ID. There are individuals that LOVE to abuse rules to their limits, so they usually unleash salvo of roleplay insults after they pay, and while the insults are great, the response was a hole in the hull sometimes. Just because rules protect you does not mean you can dictate RP without consequences. <3 PvP abuse? - Jihadjoe - 04-06-2011 Two part demands. For example... Quote:Pirate: "Pay two million credits and get the hell out of this asteroid field. Head in the direction of the new york gate." The above example is acceptable, and not a rule breach. The pirates demands had not been fully met. If howevere a trader fully complies with the pirate, then the pirate may not kill the trader. Also, Ivan, I'll just note the terrorist ID can't make demands for credits or cargo. PvP abuse? - SnakThree - 04-06-2011 So if I demand "Drop ore and get the hell out" but the miner/trader blasts it away after dropping I am free to damage/destroy him? PvP abuse? - Korny - 04-06-2011 ' Wrote:So if I demand "Drop ore and get the hell out" but the miner/trader blasts it away after dropping I am free to damage/destroy him? Hell yes. Extra hard and painful. PvP abuse? - Exsiled_one - 04-06-2011 Hm. I guess I was glutton for sanctions then when I let those people live that traded ore for their life. Then again, I don't recall it oh so well, but I'm sure I was within borders of decent roleplay.
