My total available liquid assets (business speak for cash) lies right between 400 and 500 million, neither of which your poll currently covers. My total assets are above that, but since you said not to include ships...

Notes:
- It's become harder to make credits by trading, not because the act has become less rewarding financially over a certain period of time, but the routes involved generally involve a lot of tedium and inefficiency (eg. hauling around low value cargo, short spells flying empty etc. They are also much less diverse than the routes available in the past.
- I do not have an income, though I keep my trader just in case I change my mind. That is unlikely though. My trader is an IND one, unless I missed a memo and have since lost membership due to inactivity.

I made a few billion a few years ago, been living on it since.
Been over 2 years since I did a trade run for anything other than roleplay.
So no income currently. I don't really..buy anything so income isn't a problem.

Cash wise alone onhand, I have about 2 - 3 billion, certainly not counting the value of the ships. That's not counting the money that was on the bank ships that I transferred to Monte and Dash when I stepped down as leader of the BHG, that was another 3 or 4 billion.
I'd say I made 75% of my money trading, and the other 25% doing missions. It's actually quite easy to get a 10 Ossie mission in Omega-15 (4 at a time). So you make 20 million in 20 minutes - land, rinse (sell your stuff) and repeat.
On trading, I was like some of the guys, too. I'd just sit and trade for hours at a time, while I was doing other things. Due to the time zone thing, not a lot of people on to RP with - so read a book, do the dishes, do a load of laundry, play on the Xbox - and trade on my laptop while I was doing that. Make 100 million a day, do that for 3 or 4 months in a row... Like Joe said, it's really easy to accumulate wealth.

I just bought something, so I'm back to just over 25 millions. Money is made in multiple ways, mining, trading, bounty hunting, pirating, smuggling...I get bored if I do just one. Both indies and official faction ids.

3 billion plus in liquid assets. That's after buying 4 cap 8s. (one of which disappeared off my ship, QQ)
Since this iteration of my wealth was mostly accumulated through pirating, I put that, but I've made 5-6 billion via trading, about a billion via smuggling, sold weapons, gave loans, made signatures, ect. You name it, I've probably turned a profit off of it.
I've used faction/generic IDs, both in player factions and out of them.

I have A LOT of Credits! not to mention the net worth.
I did sell a bunch on codenames for a few years so you can imagine the income I am sure. But i did more Trading and mining with IMG, its often the best way to make a steady flow of money!

800 million here. Used to make money by hauling scrap and smuggling back. With scrap nerfed to hell I now make the same money smuggling on an indie smuggler. In total I'd be worth about 1.8 billion.

Had 5-6 billion,then took time off lost it all.(including accounts) Now i have about 800mil.
I chose other as i made it from Trading/Mining/Military/selling a few CODE's,and some missions. Jack of all trades so to speak.
It is harder to make cash now then it was say2 years ago. As for those who say it is harder now then say 1 year ago? no diff. I do same runs,and make same cash. Just more stupid laws to work around,and more lawful pirates.
