Well, like it says in the post. The Order is a group of people that's main focus is to destroy and aliens such as the nomads. The Omicron Armed Forces is nothing to do with that, it is about protection of its allies. It is a bit like a police for the Omicrons but doesn't have to obey the laws. If you wanted to become a more free police then this would be ideal as you aren't actually lawful, but semi-lawful not needing to obey many laws.

So you're main focus is not even close to the Order's main RP goal ? Then drop the Order IFF/ID.
Make a mercenary group and contract with the Order then, then you can protect and escort things. And kill things for the order.

Our goals are to PROTECT the Order and make sure it can achieve its goals. We did post that we'd like own id but it won't happen for a long time.

We don't kill for the Order, we kill if it threatens the Order, us, the Order's goals, or our goals.

Well being mercenaries who work for the order might include contract of protecting them, not killing for money you know.
Now I fail to see even more why do you use Order ID/IFF except to gain access to their big and small toys.

And Order dont like Mercs because for them money is everything.
If someone offer you 10mil credits to escort someone and while escorting you meet pirate who offer you 15mil to stop escorting convoy of course that you will agree if you are Merc.
If you are for faction then you will fight for them.
And btw Omicron Armed Forces are not going to kill and escort for money.

Also, don't get your hopes up for getting your own ID. That takes a lot of time and effort.

You don't have to RP your merc as greedy ones, more as an Merc who devoted their life to the order, coz they didn't want to join the Order|. See what I did there ?
Merc ID states you can escort and defend stuff. You don't have to take money, do a pro bono work.
