The situation in Omega-7 - Hielor - 04-26-2011
How does this affect IMG operations elsewhere in Rheinland? I typically mine Niobium in T23 and transport it to New Berlin via the Sigmas--is my IMG character likely to get interdicted/shot at during this process even though I'm not involved in the O7 craziness?

Not cool. It's not much of an "independent miner's guild" if the actions of the Omega folks can so negatively affect the actions of the Tau folks, given that there shouldn't really be much contact between them...

Uhh... No.
IMG should not be docking on Alesia.
As for the goings on in the Omegas, looks like fun, and I hope it may be a lasting conflict, unlike the Kusari - GMG conflicts which just died out after a week or two.
Oh and one other thing, after having seen stuff like this, I'd just like to point out that shooting Rheinland Military ships (or any house lawful ships) is forbidden for BHG ships, hint hint, indies. >.>

@ Bindo - figure of speech. I don't know why interspace or any Liberty corp would trade with RH to begin with and I can't think of a run that lands such traders on Fstadt...

Also, those BHG caps look remarkably like the Nebulon B, when combined with that music...
So the BHG "can't participate in any unlawful actions", but "can trade and escort traders." Does that mean that an IMG transport can't hire a BHG as an escort for a trip through Rheinland, since IMG are no longer lawfully allowed in Rheinland?

The most important routes through Rheinland (read:most profitable) for IC are Beryllium from Cambridge to the Ring, Silver from Friedstadt to Tokyo, and Polymers from Omega 3 to multiple loactions.
As a temporary measure, we're okay, we're fine, everything will be all right.
But if it becomes even somewhat permanent we will do our damnedest to bring it down.
As a side note, any attack on an Interspace ship will of course be condemned as an act of war, and full diplomatic and legal power and recourse will be wielded.
EDIT: As a side note, there is of course a very simple way around the BH restrictions preventing them from attacking RM.
Bring Cap, wait, dont leave when they ask, and let them shoot first.
