I have the 2142 and BF2 demos.
BF1942 is the best ever, IMHO. You can get a slew of mods that make the game from pirates (that one was really fun), to Desert Storm (not bad, little unbalanced with the M1A1), to Star Wars (Galactic Conquest, anyone?) That one ruled all. All the vehicles had a lot more slots, the AT-AT's were TO SCALE, and Hoth was IMMENSE.

I've got BF2 and 2142, never played 1942...
I can't play them however, partially because I unplugged my gaming computer from the 'net otherwise I'll be on games so much that it'll interfere with social life and college work.
Sometimes I want to install one of 'em on this computer and play online but it's hopeless, this PC can barely run freelancer smoothly on full graphics.
