Report him to your local criminal database for "violation of diplomatic passage to Connecticut" (or something like that).
Until he didn't payed his fine (or apologized), he'll be shot on sight. Problem solved. [Image: smilie-trinkt-kaffee.gif]

Put Conn hole above NY sun.
Problem mostly solved.
Or place it in Coronado, which is sort of a center of Sirius as well.

As an alternative, you could report people abusing Conn to the admins, since it's a rule violation and they will find Conn is no longer happy to have them there. It's also oorp metagaming to say you are going to Conn and then not go and use the opportunity to RP (ex attacking in liberty or whatever.)

Remember everyone has the right to use Conn, and it should not have to take an hour for people to get there. If people are going to Conn for oorp reasons (not that there arent any others) there should be no problem with them using the lanes.

' Wrote:RNC captains, like every other discovery player, has the right to go to Connectictut whenever he wants to. If that player takes into advantage this 'immunity' to do other stuff in NY, then there is abuse.

As a side note, I also believe the position of the Connecticut jump hole is problematic.
That is incorrect. There is no policy guaranteeing a safe passage to Connecticut. If spotted it's the courtesy of the Liberty players if they let the ship go and not the right of the visitor.

Conn is an oorp system, it does not belong to Liberty, nor does liberty have the right to control access.

Surrounding systems are however in control of Liberty and using the "i'm going to Conn" excuse would just too easy way out.
Imagine I start saying that to pirates.

And if you didnt they would report you.
You would probably get sanctioned for oorp.

Do a jumphole to conn from every core-system of the houses (berlin, NY, Leeds, NT). When a player returns, he can only use the jh he came from, and not use it as shortcut to raid. oh and make an ori-jh from lost to betlehem plox

[font=Comic Sans Ms]Put the Conn hole in the middle of no-where, Penn. Easier to access stealthily (because of the jumpholes from Texas and Cali) and it's not in the middle of an active battlefield.

And no, this would not adversely affect new players. Why? Because the jumphole will be in the middle of no-where, far from mining fields, trade lanes / routes and stations.
