Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - qwertypp7 - 06-13-2011 My reasoning is basically the same. As far as I'm aware, my character is the only remaining member of La Brise, and since the Royals kind of caught on to the blindingly obvious fact that we were playing both sides in the civil war, business is not good in Gallia. So, in RP, with a newly opened border and a whole new market to exploit, I think it is only natural that those Corse who are finding Gallia increasingly inhospitable (and lets face it, empty of players) would move to exploit the new trade routes between Sirius and Gallia. Whether there is foundation for that in the rules is another matter. Unless things have changed since I drifted off, the rules can snuff out good RP ideas like that. As far as I'm concerned in RP terms, it is perfectly justifyable for Gallic unlawfuls (the Corse especially) to begin moving throughout Sirius. Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - Drakaisyl - 06-13-2011 Well Problem is,that Gallic Unlawfulls go or better went, after the mining was nerfed to the ground,to Sirius because Gallic Systems are dry as a fart, nearly the same as Kusari but Kusari has at least a bit Traffic going through it.So nearly only thing, gallic unlawfulls can do is pew pew CR/IMG in the Taus and maybe get lucky to catch a lonly trader/Miner in the Taus.So since admins/devs don't do anything by making Gallia more attractive people will always search a break out from the boredom of shotting IMG/CR. just my 2 cents Drak Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - Garrett Jax - 06-13-2011 http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?s=...st&p=677841 Quote:GRN and GRP are not permitted in non-gallic systems. I really don't see the point in that, though I can't argue much. Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - qwertypp7 - 06-13-2011 Ah so a Corse smuggling sindicate is on the books then... Lovely. Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - Daedric - 06-14-2011 I had this very question on my Angel today, the person also mentioned the Corse gunboat dude. I had to do a search of the forums to ensure I was sure and I stumbled upon this. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?s=...t&p=1321233 Quote:' Wrote: These are the last two announcements from the administration regarding this issue. Can Brigand smugglers try and make contacts with the Rogues or Corsairs? I remember that the Liberty Rogues have a trading group that pretty much spans Sirius. As well as th RHA. Can groups like the Corse, Brigands, and Maquis do this as well? Mind you, this is for trading purposes. Acts of piracy will not be committed during these routes. Clarification on Gallic faction in Sirius - alphadog - 06-15-2011 The problem with the last admin announcement was that it was extremely unclear. Despite the many questions, the never made a proper announcement, explaining the details of what can and what can't happen. Right now, its just open for interpretation. |
