Say it was a green cell, like an Eagle or something. ' Wrote:Sorry, what? Everyone with an Order ID is too busy flying an Osiris. I think you mean everyone with Order Guard ID. Thoughts about IFF on discovery - Hone - 06-18-2011 1: ID exists in RP 3: Let the player decide the IFF, if they have a different one from their ID, handle it in rp. simple. Thoughts about IFF on discovery - Slartibartfast - 06-18-2011 ' Wrote:I've wondered if we should just force the IFF once you get the right ID. I'm not sure about Merc, FL, Trader and Miner IDs though. We could force those to a Freelancer IFF. Could the rep still be dropped after IFF would be forced in? Could it be possible to do a double freelancer bribe + /droprep after getting an ID if you want to, say, fly an Order ID'd Eagle as an undercover agent or something. That way, the IFF could work as a primary recognition tool (scanning the ship via F9) and ID as secondary (and as such, inRP) tool - scanning the ID itself via a scanner. Basically, the ID would tell the one scanning that the particular ship is (suspected of being) affiliated with Order. So the said Order agent could remain undercover until someone actually scans his ID. Oh, and it should probably only be used on generic ships. Just an idea. |
