This guy hit the nail on the head. Behemoth is legitimately one of the best Transports in the mod. It's small, tough, quick, and ugly. Great ship.
But I would go for either a Bactrian or a CSF. I tried the Dromedary and I found that it took a few too many hits to pirate effectively. I kept having to hunt down NPCs to refill myself and that made me very sad.

Personally, I'd go for the Dromedary.
I haven't flown the Bactrian, so I don't know how it flies etc, but out of the other three, I think the Drom is best.
Stick an AU8 on it and max out it's weapons and you have a pretty hot ship.
As for pirating in a BWT......nope, not by yourself anyway.
No CD means you CAN'T stop a prospective victim from going to cruise, so you need a buddy in fighter that a CD to stop that from happening.
I have seen a BWT 'helping' pirates before, at the time it had the Mk II 'Charon' transport turrets mounted and was dealing decent damage to the shields on my LABC, but a few blasts sent it packing.
