Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Korny - 06-29-2011 ' Wrote:I didn't kill a faction. The faction killed itself. It is also unfair to punish a single faction for their inactivity, since in this case it's a kusarian faction. I'm not sure if you're playing a kusarian character, but it's certain that it's not too easy to maintain a comfortable level of activity in this house. I'd say it's not the Aoi's fault, but everyone who's playing in Kusari. The faction did not kill itself, that's nonsense. Other players attitude did, most of anyway. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - alphadog - 06-29-2011 Everyone knows damn well the Aoi Isejin isn't just the 113th. They chose that tag because they didn't want to tag their infested characters. Yea, that was probably a mistake. Are you going to punish them for that mistake by disbanding the whole faction? Its rather obvious they have plenty of online time as a faction, that you can't find out by spending 10 seconds checking a server tool is irrelevant. This was completely unnecessary and you're not helping ANYONE with it. Bureaucratic bull**** is what this is. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Akura - 06-29-2011 I dunno how you're measuring this, but the Iseijin have been well above the required activity for over a month, since the last warning, then the second it drops a little, you've pounced and revoked it. We've actually recently put in a request with the Admins to shift the faction again and kill the KNF stuff that clearly doesn't work. We've been waiting on the Admins. That is of course, if Jake put in the request. Please don't tell me Jake didn't put in the request. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Omi - 06-29-2011 So a group of people either play on the (AFAIK untagged) Wilde IDed ships in their faction, which seems to me what it's really all about, or take a bit of a hiatus, and as a result the roleplay they have forged out for themselves over the course of months if not years is irrevocably nuked into the ground? That seems unfair to me. Maybe force the faction to tag its Wilde ships so that they can be tracked, rather than just destroying it outright? I -know- they had warning, but still. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - VoluptaBox - 06-29-2011 All the privileges they had is/was no bureaucratic bull****? I honestly don't care if they stay alive, despite the inactivity (be it true, or just because they didn't tag their infected ships). However...how was that old saying? Great powers, great responsabilities and all that? Make them a "regular" faction (if you know what I mean) and give them back their status, for what I care. Not like anyone is fighting to take their place, anyway.. edit: ninja'd. was talking about phoenix alpha's post, of course Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Athenian - 06-29-2011 ' Wrote:It is also unfair to punish a single faction for their inactivity, since in this case it's a kusarian faction. I wouldn't confuse a faction's ability to generate activity with activity on the server. http://discoverygc.com/server/general.html And the other Kusari factions seem to be doing okay. http://discoverygc.com/server/activity_summary.html Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Serpentis - 06-29-2011 Look, the warning was given that each faction needed a Tag to show their faction.. This didn't work, doesn't mean it's unfair, it just means that you should have tagged your ships, it's hardly the admins fault for you guys not tagging all your ships.. Sorry to say, but this time it's NOT the admins fault.. Im sad to see the Aoi enjisin or what ever it's spelled loose their officialness.. I just hope that you'l remake it someday. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Korny - 06-29-2011 ' Wrote:That is anecdotal evidence. Doing okay =/= are active. As you can see in this sheet, many of the Kusari factions are close to get a warning, maybe you should change the criteria for active hours for certain houses, such as Gallia/Kusari, since it's obviously harder to maintain a good activity in them. Admin Notice: Faction Statuses Revoked; Warnings for Inactivity - Akura - 06-29-2011 Well the Iseijin can't really exist with any other leadership than the current, and we're not going to go through the works to go official again, so if the faction loses it's officiality today, the whole faction is gone. Forever. It's not exactly a faction you can fly as indies, if we're not allowed to use our ships, the faction is gone for good. Then all houses should have the same criteria, not all RP in the houses after all. Now, if it's gonna be lowered it should be fair to lower the criteria for ALL factions. |
