Point taken, Dresden would be too close since the Devastator could get into New Berlin in a free jump and that would be the end of it. Let's back up the start system to Omega-11. This means you'll want your defense around the Dresden and Stuttgart jump-gates. Jump-holes to New Berlin can't be taken by the Devastator. Once the ship enters New Berlin you're right its next to impossible to stop.

I have a secret for taking down fleeing ships (in theory, at least), that does not require cruise disrupters. :)

I realised I can't kill battleships in my lil slipstream so I might try to build up some cash real quick and upgrade to a rhienland bomber before saturday, had a lil run in with the Devestation today in frankfort learned how to dodge his missles but found out I can't hurt him even with to tizona del cids and nova torpedos, droped five torpedos into him and unloaded at least ten times all of my energy and only knocked his shields down 1/4 before I finaly accedently launched a torp to close to him and killed my self, so I need something with more firepower to get past those battle ship shields
