As far as I can tell the only nomad fighters that drop things are those near the unknown JH's in Omicron Alpha and Gamma. Otherwise it's just the Gunboats and BS's that drop weapons.
So if you want to go hunt some nomads for their weapon drops, let me know.

I had lots of blasters before! it was pretty easy then, or maybe i had luck, i just shot the nomad gunboats down and got blaster almost every 3:rd ship.
