Corsairs and Cannibalism - Not Espi - 09-03-2011 actually ... http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=103693 Corsairs and Cannibalism - SMGSterlin - 09-03-2011 Bretonians always taste the best, that tea they drink adds a floral taste to them.:nyam: Corsairs and Cannibalism - Domjan - 09-03-2011 ' Wrote:Lately, I've been seeing a lot of Corsair enemies call the Corsairs cannibals, which is fine and all since they actually did commit cannibalism a long time ago (I don't think it's been done in years though, but the stigma has stuck to them). However, I'm kind of wondering...would the Corsairs really let knowledge of this get out into the public? In the SP campaign, I was under the impression that the Corsairs only told this to their most trusted allies. If I remember correctly, the rumor that mentioned cannibalism was found on Planet Crete (I think. I can't confirm it since that website with all the rumors is only in the favorites menu of my home computer and not my college laptop) and could only be seen after becoming friendly with the Corsairs. Given that this piece of knowledge appears to be only shared with the Corsairs' most trusted allies, I'm wondering how it's possible that the enemies of the Corsairs would know something so sensitive about the Corsairs. Metagaming, don't we all love it? Corsairs and Cannibalism - Omicron - 09-03-2011 I preffer to call them Mexican('t) without offence to real nation. Just can't drop feeling they seem like stereotypical Mexicans for me. Corsairs and Cannibalism - Grimly - 09-03-2011 Can't be cannibalism in the corsair empire ! I did eat the last one:crazy: Corsairs and Cannibalism - Klaw117 - 09-04-2011 ' Wrote:actually ... http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=103693tl;dr. I'm not sure what info you're trying to point out in that link. So far, it seems like the only explanations are metagaming and some fool blabbing after allying with the Corsairs. Corsairs and Cannibalism - Not Espi - 09-04-2011 ' Wrote:He held dead bretonian's red hair in one hand and razor in another, "IT IS TIME PATRON ! I shall build a temple to our gods in warehouse, we shall be guided by evil spirits of Crete's past once more." ' Wrote:Espi looked at Mateo, then looked around the room slowly. Corsairs and Cannibalism - Klaw117 - 09-04-2011 I may be interpreting that wrong, but it seems like those two posts only referenced that cannibalism still happens (I was under the impression that this practice died out long ago, but that's another discussion). I still don't see any how someone outside of the Corsairs would find out about cannibalism from that conversation, which looked like it was from one Corsair to another and not to an outsider. Corsairs and Cannibalism - Daedric - 09-04-2011 Quote:133250 This rumor is spoken by two Corsair NPCs on Crete. It is not meta gaming to know of this rumor. As is is easily accessible by anyone not hostile to Corsairs. The fact that Zoners can land on Crete means they would know about this. Zoners run the Freeports. This knowledge would probably travel fairly quickly via the gossip/rumor mills. Corsairs and Cannibalism - Zelot - 09-04-2011 ' Wrote:Corsairs let Zoner land on Crete. 'nuff said. See?
