Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - SpaceTime - 09-20-2011 I can't hide the fact that I was always reading with interest NLH and now Underloch threads as I am considering to join this faction with my main character. And I have a question: Except the fact that [U] are terrorists and just kill without spreading propaganda around, what else is your difference from the [NLH] ? Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - Vito - 09-20-2011 I see this as a (most welcomed) facelift for the NLH. I also like the fact that corsairs have been moved from allies to neutral (lacking a friendly section, I guess). Best of luck and please keep the stoned jamaicans (or hippy) feeling NLH had. Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - Dane Summers - 09-20-2011 Interesting that your out to destroy BMM, yet IMG is Neutral...? I ask because i have several IMG, and the ore fields in Bretonia are pretty nice - last thing I want is a [U] claymore cruising up on me and killing me very dead, while im going "wait...I thought IMG was neutral?!" And what does Neutral mean? "to pew or not to pew, that is the question" ? Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - Marburg - 09-20-2011 Short story long: It's actually a change that's been long overdue. When I took over the NLH originally back in '08, I kept trying to integrate the same darker edge I & another was doin' as gaian indies before that, but It never really took properly because I didn't force it like I should've at the time. Anyway, the biggest difference between the 'loch & the NLH is simply that we are going to up-play the origins of the faction as the violent fanatics we feel the gaians were intended as. Another main difference is that we have completely severed ties with the Green Front, seeing them as impotent & a bureaucratic obstacle to our goals. ...& the thing about the 'Sairs: I've felt for years that alliance w/ 'em was wonky. For a Gaian pirate, Sairs aren't all that bad to have in your corner, but for a terrorist with single-minded goals, pirates just get in the way. With a flat neutral stance, we can drop all pretense of obligation to one another and deal with them on a case-by-case basis. ...& On neutrality in general: Neutrality does not guarantee safety for anyone. It just guarantees that we will not treat you as hostile from the get go. I don't want people to get the false impression that we will kill everything we see...I want instead to help foster a feeling trepidation when we appear on scope Bring on more questions y'all:yes: Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - escopton - 11-14-2011 Well guys I just bumped into this thread. All I can say is that all the Greyhounds are happy to see such worthy antagonists in Edinburgh. I hope we can pull laughs out of this and not only tears:lol: Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - jammi - 11-14-2011 To be honest, I haven't actually seen the transition to "mean, dark eco-terrorists" yet. So far, my only encounter with a [U] ship has been identical to encounters with the [NHL]: "we're pacifistic space-hippies who are fighting for the good-guy cause, using completely moral techniques." It was still a nice encounter, but not really what I was expecting from the Underloch. That was with [U]-Michael.Jones, on my Bowex ship, the Bowex)Johnson. [09.11.2011 21:20:34] [U]-Michael.Jones: Im not terrorist dude. So on and so forth, etc. I'd quite like to see this new gritty side of the Gaians, really. The side that liquefies BMM employees and uses them as fertiliser (doesn't that indirectly make you cannibals?:P).[09.11.2011 21:20:37] Bowex)Johnson: While murderers like you are free to ply their trade of death and destruction? [09.11.2011 21:20:45] [U]-Michael.Jones: You ever saw one of us with nuclear devices or something? [09.11.2011 21:20:46] [U]-Michael.Jones: No! [09.11.2011 21:20:55] [U]-Michael.Jones: But you saw us saving poor animals and stuff. [09.11.2011 21:21:00] [U]-Michael.Jones: I wouldnt say that's terrorism. EDIT: Quote:Wait... Wat. Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - Veygaar - 11-14-2011 Evil Giaians? Sign me up if the rumors are true.... I give this a stamp of approval;) Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - Dino - 11-22-2011 Jammi, if you readed our faction information, you would notice that Underloch claimed NLH's body, and some of it's members. So a character like Michael Jones who had to join them just because he's wanted criminal and he had nowhere else to go, couldn't adapt to their ideology, yet. Give him some time. People arent peace lovers one day, and mass murderers next day. But if you ever meet some of our other members, I can't guarantee you that you wont get killed after some RP. Quote:Approved ships: This is just a mistake in writeup, I'l fix it soon. We are on neutral stance with Kusari Naval Forces and Police, but we cant use their weapons/ships. Veygaar, rumors are true, and you know what you need to do if you wanna get in. Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - jammi - 03-10-2012 Can I just say I really liked the video you guys put together and think it's a great idea. The response I gave is purely inRP. :P Feedback for The Gaian Underloch - SpaceTime - 03-11-2012 Indeed, great idea and kudos for putting some effort into creating something interesting!;) |
